South Gables Dental Practice

Tailor-made dental care in a beautiful setting in Brackley

Our holistic approach to dental care in Brackley

Our patient-centred philosophy lies at the heart of everything we do at South Gables Dental Practice. Whether you’re nervous about sitting in the dental chair, in pain, or want to enhance your smile cosmetically with a treatment such as Invisalign or teeth whitening, we’ll work with you to ensure every aspect of your smile is taken care of – at your pace, and on your terms. With our comprehensive treatment plans, you’ll be given a clear explanation of what to expect and how much your dental care will cost, and you’ll have plenty of time to think it over before committing to having your treatment.

Giving you one less thing to worry about

South Gables Dental Practice aims to transform dental visits from stressful to serene. How? By giving you peace of mind. As well as offering a comprehensive range of treatments, including dental implants, under one roof, we routinely screen for oral cancer during your routine check-ups, and provide a range of payment options to spread the cost of dental care, including dental finance and Denplan membership. Add to this our caring team and our beautiful setting overlooking tranquil gardens along with accessible parking, we believe we’ve put everything in place to ensure our patients’ focus is on maintaining and enhancing a healthy smile, rather than fixing oral-health problems.

Treating the whole family from day one

South Gables Dental Practice supports the British Society of Paediatric Dentists’ guidelines and we urge you to bring them to see us as soon as their milk teeth appear, or by the age of one even if no teeth are showing. Bringing your child to the dentist early and often means we can rule out any underlying problems and ensure parents understand how, when and why they should be taking care of their little ones’ smiles. And if your children are familiar with the practice and enjoy a healthy, cavity-free smile from the get-go, they’re more likely to grow up with only positive memories of dental visits.

GDC no 85897

I qualified at the prestigious Guy’s, Kings and St. Thomas’ hospital (King’s College London) in 2005, after which I have been dedicated to postgraduate development and education. I am very passionate about dentistry and have completed several post-graduate qualifications to help me provide my patients with the best possible care. I have completed a Masters in Clinical Restorative Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons (FGDP RCS), the Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners MFGDP (UK), and a Certificate in Medical and Dental Education. I am currently working toward a Diploma in Implant Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons.

I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing my passion of dentistry through teaching. I have been a foundation therapist trainer for 2 years in practice, provided post graduate presentations to foundation dentists with the Oxford deanery, and held the post of Clinical Lecturer at Birmingham Dental Hospital being responsible for supervision and teaching of final year dental students.

I enjoy every aspect of dentistry, and have a keen interest in Aesthetic Dentistry and Short-term Orthodontic treatments, being certified as an Invisalign provider, Six Month Smiles Provider and Inman Aligner trained. I constantly go on CPD courses to keep my knowledge updated. I also enjoy Implant Dentistry and hope to develop my skills in this area.

I took over at South Gables Dental Practice in 2018, and will continue with the fantastic ethos created of providing our patients with the best care possible. I have found the staff to be caring, hard-working and a joy to work with. Outside of dentistry I love spending time with my two beautiful boys, keeping up with Formula 1, football, skiing and travelling.

I spend my spare time with family and friends, often going for walks and runs in the countryside. I enjoy exercising at my local gym as well as ice - skating and also enjoy relaxing with a good book.

Chloe Bush

Dental Nurse

GDC no 288119

I have had the pleasure of working within the team at South Gables Dental Practice as a dental nurse/receptionist for four years. I started my dental career in 2009 as a dental receptionist and since then I have developed my skills by completing a Level 3 NVQ in dental nursing and EDI Level 2 in customer service. I'm a first aider and I've got a Level 2 in smoking cessation. I've recently completed my Maths and English GCSE exams to help further my career in the future. I love working as a nurse and meeting new people every day, but also building bonds with our patients. Every day is different and there are always exciting new opportunities around the corner. In my spare time I love spending time playing, training and exercising my dog Loki. I also like going to the gym and spending time with friends.

Ann Lewis

Receptionist

I have a wealth of experience working within the Health sector as well as administration, and joined the South Gables team in May 2023. It is such a pleasure to work in a family-orientated practice and getting to know our patients. Every day is rewarding - being able to assist with meeting our patients' needs. It is especially lovely to see new and nervous patients have their confidence improved when joining us.
In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog, reading crime books and helping elderly and disabled people with swimming.
